Lapin on Eesti esimese koomiksiraamatu autor, milleks oli “Benno Bladrikorni elrõõm, arvamused ja mõttetu surm kohvikus Pelegria”, mis küll koomiksivormingut kasutades ei olnud tegelikult koomiksiraamat iseenesest. Lapin on ka esimese trükitud koomiksi “Paul Puddingu idee” autor, absurdne tulevikunägemus tehnoloogia arengust, mis ilmus ajakirjas “Pähklipureja” (ajakirja Noorus 1970/1971 ristsõna rubriik).

Lapin is the author of the first Estonian comic book, which was “Benno Bladrikorn’s joy, opinions and pointless death in the Pelegria café”, which, although using a comic format, was not actually a comic book in itself. Lapin is also the author of the first printed comic book, “Paul Pudding’s Idea”, an absurd vision of the future of technological development, which appeared in the magazine “Pähklipureja” (crossword section of the magazine Noorus 1970/1971).
