Kunstnik kommenteerib oma teost järgmiselt: ”

1978. aasta juulikuus võtsin osa Kunstnike Rahvusvahelisest Loomingulisest suvelaagrist.Ööbisime Schwerini Tehnikaülikooli Hostelis. Lähedal oli Schwerini loss, kus asusid kirik, Kunstimuuseum, Linnamuuseum jt.28. juulil möödusin kirikust, kus olid avatud uksed ja aknad. Üle lossi, pargi, suure järve kostis vägevat orelimuusikat. Mängiti Johann Sebastian Bachi. Astusin sisse mulle anti kava, kus oli kesklöövi ja oreli foto. Istusin, joonistasin kuulajaid. Õhtul tegin kolm kavandit, kaks neist ostis Scwerini kunstimuuseum ära. Ühe järgi komponeersin ofordi, kus on saksa rahvarõivastes naised, linn, loss, järv, baroki ja rokokooaegsed tantsud, daamid, Kristus ristil. Vertikaalsed jooned, gooti võlvid kujutavad Bachi muusikat.”

The artist comments on his work as follows: “In July 1978, I took part in the International Creative Summer Camp for Artists. We stayed at the Hostel of the Schwerin University of Technology. Nearby was Schwerin Castle, where the church, the Art Museum, the City Museum, etc. were located. On July 28, I passed the church, where the doors and windows were open. Powerful organ music could be heard over the castle, the park, and the large lake. Johann Sebastian Bach was played. I entered and was given a program with a photo of midnight and an organ. I sat down and drew the audience. In the evening I made three sketches, two of which were bought by the Scwerin Art Museum. Based on one, I composed an etching, where the lake is in German folk costumes, Baroque and medieval, the times are in German folk costumes, Christ dances, women, a city, a castle on the cross. Vertical lines, Gothic arches depict Bach’s music.”
